have you ever read something, watching something and go - i wish i could write love like that? that's how i feel about Memento in Marrow by Jillian Kills.

i enjoy when a simple concept is taken to it's most extreme. Thelma and Yori show their love, something gentle and something that they would go to any lengths for. their everyday life, the causal cruelty of the people around the two women, their (lack of) bodily autonomy and the sheer violence Yori and Thelma face by being.

when Yori gets into an accident, the two make sure Yori gets what she wishes. don't be like me and decide to start reading this during your dinner.
