BJD ADVICE: you have to make skin suits out of old tights for the dolls with dark/black clothes. The dyes stain their skin! You can usually just give the clothes a quick wash (either in cold water in the sink, or throw them into the wash into a protective bag) and that SHOULD do... but I was sooo sad when my Velvet Rose Bonnie got stained : (

Hello I'm here to talk about BJDs.
I'm gonna focus on my fave brand, Penny's Box. Their girls are the CUTEST and I have been collecting them for about 3 years!
What I like about them is each girl is so unique! Each series has something new. Body types, species (centaurs, deers, dragons + MERMAIDS!!) but they always manage to make sure they all belong in the same family... I've always liked BJDs but I never clicked with any of those big, haunted looking ones. Or if I did, they were WAYYY too outta my price range. But then... the blind box BJD revolution....
I'm very new to photography... Doll photography is hard!! How do I capture their full cuteness within the lens?? I've been watching a lot of nendoll and nui photographers but I haven't gotten there yet... I hope I can get better with each photoshoot ^_^
This isn't all my collection, but here's some of my faves!
My first PB girlo! I LOVE the centaurs, they're just... so... adorable!! I usually bring her out to cons or for photos because... how can I not?! I love the brown/teal combo, it's so pretty.
Sadly PB hasn't done more skintones since this run : ( Ranged skintones are in HUGE demand, so it makes me so disappointed to see another range of dolls with no alternative other than "factory white".
Moe Beast! PB's magical girls!! I HAD to get their mouse girl!! I love yellow, and a lot of dolls tend to fall under the pink/purple colour scheme, so seeing a shock of yellow... well, I had to have her. I really love the inset eyes, she's always watching...
Charm point: MASSIVE FOREHEAD!!!
The deer! I love how long they are lol, even if they are a bit wobbly... She's very elegant..

Annndd Angel Vanilla! These were two hanging cards/once off specials. Had to get the lolita/goth girlfriends!!
I don't like their newer dolls : ( They're kinda lost their edge a little... they've gone for more "real", long-legged dolls and I'm not too into them... I prefer the more anime/cartoony chunky-bodied girls!!
